Chuck Yeager to take part in Ida museum dedication July 24th 2 pm


Fighter and test pilot Chuck Yeager, a retired Air Force brigadier general and the first man to officially break the sound barrier, will take part in the July 24 dedication of a museum that will honor a Caddo Parish ace and squadron mate who was murdered in World War II.

The chapter would like too see some of us there if help is needed and just our support. There will be a p-51 fly-over and the Spirit of Haughton will participate. Hanger space will be offered to the p-51 on July 23rd and 24th if needed. I think Chuck may have flown an experimental once or twice…
