On Wednesday Feb 8 I was allowed to strap my flight camera to the head of a helicopter pilot while he received safety instruction from Lon Wimberley, a 25000 plus hour helicopter pilot/safety consultant. The maneuver is an autorotation performed in conjunction with a simulated engine failure! Turn the volume up to hear the discussion!  George

At last months meeting, the completion of the hangar wall was discussed and a number of members volunteered for the project. George was making arrangements for the sheetrock and insulation to be delivered to the hangar. He drove by Joe Provenza’s, “Little Joe’s” , hangar and noticed a group of guys were hanging sheetrock! George inquired and Joe gave us a great deal on the 8 sheets of sheetrock and the sheetrock crew showed up at 6:30 a.m. on Thursday, 2/2/2012 and sheetrocked our wall for us! It was a tremendous effort that we could not have done without the support of Joe Provenza! We owe him a big “THANK YOU”!
