Young Eagles flights a big success

EAA Chapter 343 hosted a Young Eagles event for 31 Girl Scouts on
October 30, 2010 at the Downtown Airport!  All 31 participants were
flown during an event that lasted 1 hour and 45 minutes.  The following
pilots flew the participants Richard Cox, David Leedom, Martin McCoy,
Tom Owens, and Dr. Rick Wolfe.

In addition to our pilots, the following volunteers also assisted in the
event, Homer Purtle, Leah Mueller, Nathan Mueller, Jimmy McNaughton,
Jack Lamb, Mark Clevenger, Clinton Camp, and Buddy Camp!

  • I want to send out a special thank you to all of you that volunteered!
  • Also, our gratitude to Mr. Gerald McKinney and staff at
the airport for the equipment setup that was provided for the event!
  • Thank ! GC
